Allergy testing and treatment

Allergy testing with immunotherapy is a practical and successful way to manage moderate to severe inhalant allergic dermatitis in dogs and cats (similar to hay fever in people). 

Our Dermatologist will guide you through the steps of allergy testing and treatment beginning with a consultation and complete examination of your pet. 

If the Dermatologist suspects that your pet has inhalant allergies then he will discuss intradermal allergy testing.

Intradermal allergy testing is considered the "Gold Standard" for the diagnosis of inhalant allergies and provides the most accurate results. 

Based on the test results, we will develop a hyposensitization program for your pet.  This therapy aims to desensitize your pet to their specific allergens.  Hyposensitization is the safest allergy treatment and involves no drugs. 

We prepare your pet's hyposensitization (allergy) injections right here in our building so they are available for pick up or we can ship them directly to your home.
