Jean Stiles, DVM, MS, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologist

Dr. Jean Stiles graduated from the University of California School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, becoming board certified in veterinary ophthalmology in 1992. Since that time, Dr. Stiles has worked as a professor in academic veterinary medicine at several university veterinary schools as well as working in private practice.

Dr. Stiles has a particular love of cats and has an active research program in feline ophthalmic disease, particularly in the area of feline herpesvirus infections. She has published numerous research articles and book chapters.

She is active within the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and has trained many veterinarians in residency programs to become ophthalmologists.
