Dr. Terry Grieshaber

Dr. Terry Grieshaber, Diplomate, ACVD earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Small Business and Farm Management from Purdue in 1978 and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982.  His residency program in Veterinary Dermatology was completed at the University of Minnesota and he became Board Certified in Veterinary Dermatology in 1998.  The residency program was done in an “alternative fashion” (on a part-time basis) which allowed Dr. Grieshaber to acquire experience in many aspects of veterinary medicine, including large animal, small animal, and emergency practices.  This wide range of experience has led him to take a thorough yet practical approach to solving the complex problems that are presented on a daily basis.

Dr. Grieshaber has always had a strong commitment to “give back” to his profession and community.  His involvement in the Academy of Veterinary Dermatology includes serving six years on the Board as Treasurer, Vice President, and President, bringing him national recognition among his peers.  Locally he focuses his volunteer time with the Boone County 4-H program by supporting young members through donations and instruction.   He has also coached youth soccer & basketball over the years. A great advocate of education, Dr. Grieshaber opens his practice for visits by students of all ages and studies, allowing them to witness veterinary medicine first hand.

As a long time private practice owner, Dr. Grieshaber’s vision to improve awareness, education, customer service and communication in the veterinary profession was the driving force behind Circle City’s inception and on going success.
