Toxicology Presentation a Success

On March 12th Tina Wismer, DVM, DABVT, DABT,  delivered a dynamic presentation to an audience of about 60 veterinarians and support staff in Circle City’s Conference Area.  Dr. Wismer is a 1994 Purdue graduate, boarded in both Human and Veterinary Toxicology, and has been a Consultant at the ASPCA’s Poison Control Center in Urbana, Illinois for ten years.  After a request from Circle City’s Dr. Dana Graham, Dr. Wismer based her presentation around the inquiries most often

addressed at the call center.
Dr. Wismer graciously supplied Circle City with a copy of her presentation along with informative hand outs for future reference.  If you are interested in receiving more information about this valuable information, you can call Circle City’s business office for details.
The next CE will be April 9th when Dr. William Widmer, DACVR will present, “Biggest mistakes in gastrointestinal imaging—how to avoid them”

New Website Promotes Family Practice

Circle City’s new website promotes the Family Veterinarian in just about every area of the site.   We believe when it comes to pet health, the most successful pet owners have developed lasting relationships with their primary, or “family veterinarian”.  Along with repeated references to the importance of communication between specialty and general practice, our new site offers a FAQ section for pet owners, tips on finding a family veterinarian, and a data base of hospitals that have referred at least one case to us in the previous twelve months.  The data is updated monthly to provide the most accurate information possible.  Even though we strive for accuracy, we sometimes

receive incorrect information.   If you have referred a case to us within the twelve month window and do not see your hospital listed, please call us right away so we can correct the omission.
This list is not designed to act as recommendations for the listed hospitals and this is made clear to the reader.  It is designed to provide information to pet owners searching for a family veterinarian and to promote the relationships between all parties.
We encourage you to visit our new site, www.circlecityvets.com .  With modern technology at hand, the possibilities to share more information are almost limitless.
